Camp Scugog's Spring Cleaning Day, Saturday, May 7, 2022

Camp Scugog is a special place of acceptance, friendship, personal growth and community for kids who can’t afford to go camp, sponsored by several organizations including Toronto churches like Fairlawn Avenue United. Camp Scugog is an experience that stays with these young people long after they leave the camp, and provides a connection to hope throughout the year. And now that Spring is here, we have amazing news to share. For the first time in two years, Camp Scugog will be open this summer for campers. We are beyond thrilled, and also very aware of how much needs to be done to prepare the camp facilities. That's why we are hoping you will consider joining us for Spring Cleaning at Camp Scugog on Saturday, May 7, 2022 as we get ready for another summer of fun and friendship.

Enjoy a day in nature, contributing to a life-changing experience for young people.

Date: Saturday, May 7, 2022

Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Camp Scugog, Nestelton ON - view the map

Food: There will be snacks all day, and a big lunch at noon.

Childcare: Camp staff will be on site to have fun with kids aged 0-12.

COVID-19: Lunch will be served outside, and public health guidelines will be followed.

Jobs: Sweeping, dusting, painting, sorting -- There's something suitable to do for all abilities: Everything from quiet sitting to robust lifting! We need you all ❤️

What's New: Spring Cleaning is also an awesome opportunity to check out the upgrades to Camp Scugog: the renovated boat house, new basketball court, low-ropes course, landscaped waterfront, as well as heating and cooling in the dining hall.
